刺龍堂のオーナー兼、タトゥーイスト。撮影も担当。
大学でシルクロード美術について学び、その後、考古学の仕事に従事。その事から世界の遺跡、果ては民族そのものに興味を抱き、海外遺跡を中心とした旅へと出る。
そんな中、いろいろな世界の民族や歴史を知るたびに、歴史に触れるたびに、その民族の根底に根付いていたタトゥー文化へと心酔していった。
その後、バリ島にてWAYANと出会った事により、本格的に彫師としての道を歩み始める。
海外放浪時代に受けた影響が、現在の彼の作品に反映している。

1996年: アジアへの長期放浪生活を送る。この時期にバリ島も訪れ、バリ絵画と出会い、また、タトゥーを彫る事も経験する。

1997年: 帰国。同年、NYへ。

1998年: 中東、地中海周辺国を巡る。

1999年: ヨーロッパへと向かう。帰国後、今度はバルカン半島へ。

2000年: インドへ。この時HENNAと出会い、またインドのデザインや彫刻への影響を受ける。

2001年: 再びバリ島と訪れ、この時、WAYANと出会う。バリ島でタトゥーの勉強をする。

2002年: 帰国後、本格的なタトゥーの勉強を始める。

2004年: 池袋でWAYANと共に刺龍堂を立ち上げる。

2006年

3月: 池袋の刺龍堂が終わりを告げる。WAYANはバリ島へと帰国。

4月: RONは自由が丘で新しい刺龍堂を立ち上げる。

BALI-UBUDを拠点に活動していたが、2002年、来日。2004年、RONと共に刺龍堂を設立。
幼い頃より島の伝統芸能である絵画と彫刻を学んでいた為、作品にはバリの伝統、そして彼独自の世界観が描かれている。得意な絵柄としてはリアルなものや、細かいものが挙げられる。
彫師としては10代半ばより活動し、20年強のキャリアを持つ。

2006年: 彫師としての活動休止と共に、刺龍堂での活動も終了となる。

2007年: 趣味であった建築が遂に本業となり、バリ島ウブドにて建築会社を興す。

RON

Shiryudoh’s owner and a tattooist. Also takes photos.
RON studied about arts of Silk Road at university, and worked at archeological company after the graduation. This led RON to have a strong interest to world relics, ethnology, and these interests led him to travel around the world.
During the traveling, he learned and saw many nations and history. Every history he touched always led to the nation’s root- and tattoo was always there. This fact fascinated him.
At Bali, he met WAYAN and truly decided to take a step to be a tattooist.
His experience during the long traveling is affecting his art work very much.

1996: RON traveled long term in Asia. He went to Bali at this year and met an artist from Bali and he experienced tattoo for the first time as well.

1997: RON returns to Japan, at the same year he went to New York.

1998: RON went to Middle East, and around the Mediterranean Sea.

1999: RON went to Europe. After returning to Japan, he went to Balkan.

2000: RON went to India. He sees HENNA for the first time, and Indian’s art work and the sculpture affects his art work.

2001: RON visited Bali again, and here he meets WAYAN. RON starts to study tattoo at Bali.

2002: RON returns to Japan, and RON starts to study tattoo more genuinely.

2004: RON and WAYAN start Shiryudoh together at Ikebukuro.

2006

March: Ikebukuro’s Shiryudoh ends here. WAYAN returns to Bali.

April: Ron newly starts up Shiryudoh at Jiyuugaoka.

WAYAN

He was working at BALI-UBUD but came to Japan at 2002.
At 2004, he starts up Shiryudoh with RON.
His art work is affected by his country’s (Bali) traditional art and sculpture that he was studying. His work shows his tradition and his own sense. He is good at realistic art work and sensitive details.
He has a career more than 20years since he started tattoo when he was a teenager.

2006: He quits tattooist and leaves Shiryudoh.

2007: His hobby of construction becomes his profession and starts up Construction Company at Bali.
